The executive Director oversees day to day operations of the Justice Center, both fiscal and programmatic, and promotes restorative principles through training, marketing and collaborations.
Melissa Shettleroe – Coordinator, Reparative Board Program (mshettleroe@gbcjc.org)
The Reparative Coordinator is responsible for running the Reparative Program and keeping data on Reparative and Direct Referral cases. Melissa ensures that all clients receive the optimal restorative response to conflict and crime and works with volunteers, staff and the Executive Director to assure the program runs efficiently.
Kate Aylward – Coordinator, Offender Reentry Program

Kate coordinates the reentry program, which works with people who have been released to the community from incarceration, have significant ties to Barre, and are serving the remainder of their sentence in the Barre community. She provides client case management and service navigation, as well as coordination of Circles of Support and Accountability (COSA) teams.Lynda Murphy – Volunteer Victim Liaison/Volunteer Recruiter (lmurphy@gbcjc.org)
The Volunteer Coordinator conducts interviews potential volunteers, matches volunteers with reentry clients, and processes volunteer applications. Lynda also prepares outreach materials, and assists in organizing trainings.
Diane McKain - Coordinator, Family Group Conferencing (dmckain@gbcjc.org)
Diane coordinates Family Group Conference meetings for youthful offender cases referred directly from the courts. She conducts multiple interviews with young offenders and their families in preparation for a FGC meeting which provides a process where they can come together with those affected, hear about services they are interested in, and design a family made plan to address the harm, provide support and accountability and move forward.
Mary Ormsby – Operations Manager

The Operations Manager assists the Executive Director with data keeping, administration and human resources tasks and other duties associated with the functioning of the GBCJC. Mary ensures that the GBCJC’s infrastructure runs smoothly and in a timely fashion.
